Set in beautiful Western Australia, Tone City Recording is a high-end studio built by owner, Sam Ford. This 1200-square-foot facility includes a Control Room, Live Room, and Lounge designed by Whispering Smith Architecture and Acoustical Consultant, Haverstick Designs. The unique circular and triangular windows to the exterior allow for natural light and amazing views of the surrounding area. Each room is constructed as a “room within a room” for high-quality isolation. Custom bass trapping and wood slats were implemented in both rooms to achieve the desired liveliness for each space. Living quarters are located on the property for bands to make this studio a destination spot for recording their next album. Tone City also has a record label, Tone City Records that helps to showcase new music in Australia.
